Rewind - February

It's only two days shorter than the average month, but February still lasts seconds me. One day I'm processing the new year, the other day it's nearly spring! I hope I'm not the only one 🙈 Anyways, these images prove that February is long enough to allow me to create some pixels, and here we see, some good ones 👀🌸

February 2022: A portrait of me performing one of my favorite poses

This confrontation shows me one thing in particular: despite the cold weather of the period in which they were taken, these picture have warm colors in common (except for the b&w). Even if I love winter, there always comes a time in which I'm done with it, and miss the heat of the Sun; that time is obviously February. I must tend to seek for the warmth through photography. Curiously, I'm also almost totally naked in all these sets. I love the fact that most pictures express that mysterious, dark side of my personality, especially using dim lights; when the light is natural, the face is hidden, and the body talks in its place. 

Personally, my very favorite picture is the 2019s. I remember lighting up dozen of candles and making the b&b's fire-alarm ring 🤓 The whole mood of that set was splendid, and I'm looking forward to experiment with it again ✨ Now let me know YOUR fave pic in the next post 🌸

Febbraio è più corto rispetto agli altri mesi di due soli giorni, ma mi fa sempre sentire una grande mancanza di quelle 48 ore: per me è un po un mese fantasma, un tunnel che collega l'inizio dell'anno con l'inizio della primavera, ed io lo attraverso ai 100 all'ora. Sono l'unica? Comunque, queste foto sono la prova che anche questo mese fornisca tempo a sufficienza per creare qualche pixel ben assestato 👀🌸

2018: Le mie gambe sbucano da dietro una parete, poso a pancia in giù su un tavolo

2019: Io che lancio un incantesimo davanti ad uno specchio dorato

2020: Sto su un divano, indosso un cardigan rosso

2021: Do le spalle all'osservatore, seduta di fronte ad una finestra

2022: faccio una posa jolly illuminata da una luce di dubbia provenienza

Allora, questo confronto mi mostra innanzitutto una cosa: queste foto in comune hanno colori caldi (tranne il b&n, ovvio). Probabilmente visto il periodo, sono così stanca del gelido inverno che cerco il calore che mi manca nella fotografia. Curioso anche il fatto che in tutti gli scatti io sia praticamente nuda: viste le temperature, non è stata una scelta dettata dalla praticità; evidentemente ne sentivo il bisogno. In fine, mi piace notare la mia tendenza ad esprimere quella parte della mia personalità un po misteriosa e oscura, che ama calarsi in contesti poco illuminati. Anche quando la luce è forte, la posa e l'inquadratura tendono a nascondere il viso.

Io non ho dubbi su quale sia la mia foto preferita: quella del 2019. Tutto il set mi piace tantissimo, il mood che avevo costruito era fantasioso ed erotico, e mi ci sento ancora oggi molto rappresentata. Ricordo di aver acceso dozzine di candele, e con esse di aver fatto attivare l'allarme antincendio del b&b 🙈
