Rewind - five years of us

Hi my dearest, I hope this Monday was gentle to you.

I'd like to introduce you to a new lil project, that we will start calling "Rewind".

So, 2022 marks FIVE years since this creator page of mine was founded. I never really celebrated its birthdays, cause I don't like birthdays in the first place🙈, but I feel this one is a remarkable goal, something worth to be remembered.

The idea is to select - for each past year spent together - one, and only one picture, taken in the current month, (for a total of 5 pics) and share them with you. 🌸 The pictures will be chosen not for their popularity, nor for their sexiness, and neither for their technical execution; I'll share the ones that best portray my history, the more innovative ones, or simply the ones I'd be more likely to print.

This will make it possible for you to perceive the variety of styles and moodboards I've experimented, along with the feelings and experiences I felt the need to share in those moments of the past.

Selecting the pictures unlocked lost memories in my mind, and also made me see my sets with new eyes: now I recognize certain creative tendencies as cyclical, connected to the seasons - I can see how I changed the ways I express the pain I've been through - I've noticed the slightest modifications and adjustments of my body, and how it matured until it became the body of a woman.

I'm sure this will be a great opportunity for me, because it will make me aware of my improvements, and it will help me define a style of my own; but mostly it will be a chance for you to see my whole path from the very start, for the first time, no matter how long you've been here. ❤️

Buonasera mie* car*, spero che questo lunedì vi sia stato lieve.

Sono qui per introdurvi ad un nuovo, piccolo progetto, a cui ho pensato la settimana scorsa, in un momento di nostalgia. Lo chiameremo "Rewind", che in inglese significa "riavvolgere".

Dunque, incredibile ma vero: il 2022 sarà il QUINTO anno di vita di questa mia pagina Patreon. 🤯 Di solito non celebro i suoi compleanni - non celebro i compleanni in generale, a dirla tutta 🙈- però ritengo che questo traguardo sia significativo, e meriti di essere in qualche modo ricordato.

L'idea è più o meno questa: selezionare, per ogni anno passato assieme finora, una sola foto, scattata nel mese corrente (per un totale di 5 foto al mese), e condividerle con voi. 🌸 Le foto che sceglierò non saranno le più popolari, o le più sexy, o le più corrette dal punto di vista tecnico; saranno quelle che considero più innovative e originali, più rappresentative del periodo storico che stavo vivendo, o semplicemente quelle che sarei più propensa a stampare.

Questa esperienza vi permetterà di percepire la varietà di stili e di moodboards che ho sperimentato in tutti questi anni, e forse vi darà un'idea anche delle emozioni e delle avventure che ho sentito il bisogno - e avuto il piacere - di condividere con voi finora.

La selezione delle immagini è stata per me un'esperienza intensa, che ha riportato alla mia mente molti ricordi, e ha cambiato il mio modo di vedere il mio lavoro. Se prima pensavo di non star evolvendo, di non star andando da nessuna parte, ora posso affermare di essermi ricreduta. Ho scoperto di avere delle tendenze nell'esprimermi, che dipendono in qualche modo dalle stagioni; altre invece denotano i miei umori, o i diversi periodi del ciclo mestruale. Ho notato i più piccoli cambiamenti dei mio corpo, come si è adattato a diversi stili di vita, come è evoluto fino a diventare quello di una donna adulta.

Spero che ripercorrere il mio percorso dall'inizio, per la prima volta, aiuti i nuovi arrivati a conoscermi, e rubi un sorriso a chi è qui da un pezzo 🙏🏻
