So here we are.<br>You’re seeing a photo taken by Roberto Girardi during our trip in Nevada. To be precise we were in California in this case, in the middle of the Death Valley. I’ve already spent some words about my experience in this place, but this picture says even more: a woman lying on top of a rock dune, in one of the most extreme and dangerous deserts of this planet; is she alive? Why does she look so alive? Looks like the clouds are coming to caress her, looks like the hot rocks are comfortable, and the whole world is following her moves. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the voice of my imagination, that power we do not have to abandon, the only partner a good picture needs. But this also is the actual ideal I’m trying to share with my image: humans living closer to Nature, coexisting peacefully and finding their own beauty in Her beauty, their own power in Her power, and finally stop needing to know why they were born.
