Mariah May: All In A Trance

AEW: All In, the biggest event of the year for pro wrestling organization All Elite Wrestling is just a little over a week away. Mariah May was set to battle Toni Storm for the AEW Women's World Championship after turning on Toni, leaving her bloody at the hands.. or.. heel of Toni's own shoe.

The event is taking place at Wembley Stadium in London, England. Toni, not wanting to lose her title, would do anything to keep it within her grasp. Anything... Including hiring a hypnotist.

One night, while Mariah was walking down the hall towards her hotel room, a man in a black suit stopped her. Mariah was polite and greeted him, thinking he was just some fan wanting an autograph or a photo. Instead, he said he wanted to show her something he had made for her. Thinking nothing of it, Mariah curiously agreed to take a look. The man then took out his phone and showed her the screen. On it was a captivating spiral swirling around and around.

Stunned and confused, Mariah stared into the spiral, feeling her mind starting to become foggy and dazed, until she could hardly think at all. Her eyes had began to display spirals like the one on the screen, and her mouth fell open wide. Mariah was mesmerized and couldn't look away.

The man then commanded the now hypnotized Mariah and gave her a trigger. On the day of All In, when Mariah would get into her car to drive to Wembley Stadium, she would become convinced it was normal to drive with her feet. Of course, this would be impossible to do, and that was obviously the point.

Once the man had finished his task given to him by Toni Storm, who had paid him handsomely to do so, he released Mariah from her trance with the post-hypnotic suggestion to believe she had simply taken a photo with him.

Mariah then went on with the rest of her night, forgetting all about what happened and instead believing the hypnotic delusion that he had just taken a photo with her.

Now, the day had finally come for the big event. Mariah got ready, packed her wrestling gear, and walked out to her car. She put her suitcase in the trunk and got in, closing the door before putting the key into the ignition. Once she turned the key and the car started, Mariah's eyes turned to spirals. Her trigger had been activated instantly, sending her into a trance.

As if it was totally normal, Mariah slipped off her high-heels and placed her now bare feet on the steering wheel. It was then that Mariah realized something. How was she going to press the pedals? Obviously her feet belonged on the steering wheel, but she couldn't reach the pedals with her hands at the same time. Even if she did, how would she be able to see to drive? All of this was very confusing for poor Mariah, who had a confused expression on her face, unaware of the fact she was now under hypnosis.

After struggling for nearly thirty minutes, Mariah finally gave up. There was no way she could drive! Something was wrong, but she just couldn't figure out what. When she tired to think back to times she had previously driven a car, she always remembered her bare feet on the wheel, but had no memory of how she would actually press the pedals.

Fortunately for her though, Mariah realized she could just call an uber to take her to the stadium. She did so, and had to wait nearly another thirty minutes for one to arrive. But once Mariah sat in the back seat, she was alarmed to see the driver attempting to drive.. with their hands?! How dangerous!

Mariah started to argue with the driver, refusing to ride with them if they weren't going to drive properly. The poor girl had no idea how dumb and ridiculous she sounded.. and looked....

That took another 10 minutes, and now the show was close to starting. Mariah seemingly had no way to get to the stadium in time for her match with Toni Storm, as it was set to open the show.

Once the show began, Toni made her entrance and smiled deviously as she made her way to the ring. Mariah's music then played, but no one walked down the entrance ramp. The ring announcer then told everyone in attendance the news: Mariah had no showed and automatically forfeited the match. Toni Storm held her title tightly and laughed as the crowd began to boo. Her plan had worked perfectly.
