April Gets Some Sleep

April was very skeptical about hypnosis at first. It all seemed phony in her opinion. But, when her doctor recommended hypnotherapy to help her sleep, she decided to give it a go.

"I just, I don't know, it just doesn't sound real, you know? Like, how can you make me just, fall asleep instantly?" She asked, with a chuckle. "I mean, I hope it works! This insomnia is killing me.. but I just don't know."

The therapist gave a warm smile and placed his hand upon April's shoulder. "Don't worry, sweetheart. It will all make since once you see this..." The man pulled out a small pinlight from his pocket.

"Oh? What's that?" April asked, blushing from his sudden intimate touch.

"Why yes, you're right. It's my light. My special sleep light. It will help you to get to sleep nice and easily. Just have a look." He turned it on, holding it above her head, about 5 or 6 inches away from her.

"Okay.. if you say so." Responded the skeptic, as she looked up, straining her neck and her eyes to look at the light.

"Good. Just stare right at the light.. feel it coming closer." He very carefully started to bring the light closer to her. "Let yourself go. Let the light take away all of your stress, all of your worries and tension. And when it touches your forehead, you will sleep. Very deep. Instantly."

April didn't say anything, but nodded ever so slightly. She was focused on the light, and the nearer it got, the more her eyes strained, crossing to look at it. Her eyes felt tired, and she found herself feeling.. weak. She just allowed it to happen, even letting her mouth hang open without much care.

"That's it.. you're doing so well. I bet you're feeling sleepy just thinking about it. Just wanting to rest and relax and let go, April... it just sounds so very good." His light was inching ever so close. "Get ready, it's time for bed, sweetie.. Sleeeeeep..."

The light touched her forehead, and April's body immediately went slack. Her eyes stayed open, crossed as she fell back, being caught in his arms as she plunged into sleep and trance. The skeptic, so sure hypnosis was just bs before, was now out like a light, eyes open, with soft snores escaping her lips.

Putting the penlight back into his pocket, the therapist lifted April's lifeless body up into his arms, in a bridal style carry. He walked with her in his arms, taking her to a special room. A room he'd use to relax his patients further, yet for her, it would be used differently. He had taken a liking to her, and wanted to do something he hadn't done in awhile.

Once he laid her down on the soft floor, a floor in which had a grass like carpet, he spoke to the sleeping beauty.

"There there, April... You're sleeping, just like a baby now. All because you stared into a pretty light. It's so easy for you to sleep. So easy for you to just pass out when you want to." He caressed her head as she was laying down. "From now on, all it takes is saying a simple phrase. 'I must sleep'. As soon as those words escape your lips, it's like the world's strongest sleeping pill kicks in. You're out. Immediately. And you'll get a full night's sleep."

April's subconscious mind soaked up his words. Even though she was knocked out, her subconscious was completely and totally open to be molded and manipulated to believe anything he said.

While he spoke, the therapist had been carefully removing his client's shoes and socks. Unaware to April, she was now barefoot.

He began to gently rub her soles and toes with his thumbs. Even though she couldn't feel it, it would only relax her even further. "Now as you sleep so deep, I want you to feel something... something around your wrists. Like a string. Feel strings tied to your wrists now, April... It feels nice." He said, massaging each and every one of her toes. "Feel those strings pulling your arms up into the air."

He watched as April's arms started to be raised into the air as she slept. In her subconscious mind, there was surely strings tied to her wrists.

"Yes, pulling you up from the floor like a puppet... You are nothing but a puppet for sleep..." He said, sniffing her feet. "Sleep controls you.. sleep owns you.. like a toy. And it has full power over you, April.."

April's arms couldn't go any higher without pulling her torso off of the ground, and they did just that. Soon, she was sitting up, arms in the air, with her head hanging back.

"And freeze... just like that. Stuck like a doll as you sleep and dream..." He said, snapping his fingers. "Just floating away in a sea of slumber..." He kissed her soles.

April was still out cold, snoring, as she was sat up with her arms straight out in front of her. She looked like a zombie as her toes twitched, and her eyes rolled around from her dreams.

Meanwhile, the therapist was having his way with her vulnerable, exposed feet. He licked them, his tongue sliding up and down her soles, coating them in a thick layer of his saliva. Her toes, as he sucked on them, twitched inside his mouth ever so slightly. He loved getting a taste of the feet of his favorite clients. April may now be the one he loves the most.

Once he was finished, April's hypnotized feet were soaked in slobber. Glistening. Dripping... yet she didn't have any clue. She was deep in a dream, one in which she was floating effortlessly through space.

The therapist wiped his lips, admiring the work he had done on her feet. Standing up, he placed his hand upon her head. "Now April, stand and sleep, and march... March around the room for me. Like a zombie... repeating the words, 'I am a sleep zombie. I must sleep' while you do so."

April stood, consciously unaware of what she was doing. She started to march, arms stretched out, lifting her feet into the air like a slumbering soldier. "I am a sleep zombie... I must sleep..." She repeated, between snores. "I am a sleep zombie... I must sleep..." She uttered, drool rolling down her chin. "I am a sleep zombie... I must sleep..." Eyes rolling, wet feet drying on the grass-like carpet.

"Good girl... You must march for sleep, everytime you sleep. You must repeat these words as they are the absolute truth..." Said the therapist as he picked her shoes and socks up off of the floor, carrying them with him. "Now, come. Follow me back to my office..."

April followed her leader, just like a good zombie would do. She followed him all the way back to his office, her feet now completely dry. He had her take a seat, and she obeyed without thought, or awareness for that matter.

The therapist carefully placed April's socks back onto her feet, proceeded by her shoes. Then he took a napkin and wiped the drool from her chin, before snapping his fingers as he placed the wet napkin into his pocket. "Wake up!"

April took a deep breathe in as she was snapped out of sleep and trance. Her eyes went wide for a moment, before she blinked and became aware of her surroundings. "Oh.. my god? Did.. did that work? I feel like I've had a full night's sleep!" She said, chuckling with amazement.

The therapist smiled. It was obvious the girl had no clue about what he had done to her feet in her mindless sleep. "Very good! I'm glad to hear you feel so much better. I've given you a trigger word you can use whenever you're having a hard time falling asleep. Just say to yourself, 'I must sleep' and you will instantly sleep. But I must say, you might wanna wait until you're at home in your bed. Otherwise you may end up knocked out in my office for quite a few hours." He joked.

"Really? Thank you so much!" April stood and gave him a big hug. "I definitely believe hypnosis works now. I mean, I was knocked out by it first hand, haha! All with a little light."

"You'd be surprised how many others felt the same way as you before seeing me, and then left enlightened by the power of hypnosis. I'm happy it all worked out. Have a great day, and a great night's sleep." The therapist said with a grin as he walked with her to the door of his office, opening it for her.

"Thank you again! I'll try and keep an open mind about things from now on." April replied, stepping through the door and stopping to wave before she left.

Later that night, it was time for bed. Usually, April would be depressed as she laid down in her bed, just knowing it would be another night of staring at the ceiling. But tonight was different. She was actually looking forward to it.

Laying down, she covered herself in her blanket, her feet out at the bottom of the bed just how she liked it. April took a deep breathe in and said "I must sleep."

Well, she was still staring at the ceiling... but she couldn't see it. April was instantly asleep, so quick her eyes didn't have time to close. She began to snore, and soon, she sat up in bed. Her arms raised in front of her. "I am a sleep zombie... I must sleep..."

Discarding the blanket, April rose from her bed and marched. She marched all throughout the house, repeating her mantra over and over again.

By time the sun was coming up, April found herself snoring away in bed again, wrapped up in her blanket. So cozy and warm as she slowly and peacefully awoke.

"Ahh.." April said, yawning and stretching as she sat up in bed. "I feel so much better... Thanks, hypnosis." She smiled, ready for her day.
