These photos were taken on a nudist beach where Lola brought me one day.

The plan was very simple and innocent: relax, breathe, take some photos, enjoy the sun and the sea.

At first, the beach was almost empty. There was just us, me and Lola, and one older guy sitting far away under an umbrella near the rocks. Quiet, peaceful, perfect.

And then… another man arrived. He sat down uncomfortably close to us and started staring. Not a casual glance, full, intense, invasive staring. We felt it immediately. So we moved further down the beach. He followed.

We moved again. He followed again.

This went on for hours. Every time we changed spots to get away from him, he repositioned himself so he could keep watching us. It became genuinely unsettling.

At some point, even the man under the umbrella noticed what was happening. Turns out, he was actually an off-duty police officerl, just relaxing there while keeping an eye on the beach. He came over, told the guy to leave us alone, reassured us that everything was fine and that he would handle it.

Spoiler: the guy didn’t stop.

Despite being warned, he kept following us around the beach. I eventually confronted him very loudly and very directly, making it extremely clear that he needed to stop immediately.

He still didn’t.

The whole situation became so absurd that it almost turned into a surreal performance piece:

Lola sitting calmly on the sand, a completely naked police officer standing behind us with his hands on his hips, clearly guarding us, and, further down the beach, the same persistent creep sitting and staring 😅🙈🤣

In the end, the policeman had to call for backup, because the man was clearly not okay and wouldn’t disengage no matter what. Only then did it finally stop.

What makes it even funnier (in retrospect) is that Lola told me she had never experienced anything like this in all her years living in Spain. Never. Not once.

So now we joke that it must have been my fault, my vampire-level pale skin. Among all the glowing, sun-kissed Spanish bodies, I apparently stood out like Edward Cullen in direct sunlight 🤣

A strange, uncomfortable, ridiculous, and now genuinely funny story.

One of those moments where reality feels more surreal than fiction.

And somehow… it became part of these photos too 🤍
