You guys need to rewatch the basketball scene to understand their ideals and where Geto vs. Gojo stand because the whole point of these episodes is to show how their worldviews shifted from then to where they are in the present (complete opposite stances from the beginning of S2)

2025-10-19 08:37:40 +0000 UTCTTR i had the funniest dream!! i fell asleep watching JJK but woke up due to a sudden downpour of rain. in my dream... Ben is filming a big production for TTR. there was a lady walking (i cant remember what her deal was, but she's to be interviewed). your crew escorted her to a luxury yacht blindfolded and had her change to a fancy bling2x dress. then to surprise her, Ben is hanging to a helicopter ala jungkook's euphoria style, wearing a nautical suit, short blonde hair with full on mustache as if you were proposing to her. 🤣🤣🤣 then i woke up and you 3 are still talking about JJK but different episode. 😅

2025-10-18 12:13:58 +0000 UTCSo we learned at the beginning of this season that empathy already wasn’t something Gojo was great at. It was the topic they’d discussed in the basketball scene where Geto basically had to explain to him that as Jujutsu sorcerers they had to protect the weak essentially because “it’s the right thing to do”. Even with Geto’s explanation though, Gojo still seemed to struggle with thinking in that way back then. So now take that Gojo who struggled with empathy to some degree on a good day, give him the ultimate power high from teaching himself to heal his own wounds and to vaporize a person on the spot, and put him in a room full of evil people applauding the death of an innocent girl - that was a powder keg about to go off. But thankfully Gojo still had enough sense to realize that about himself and instead delegated the decision of who should live or die to Geto. Someone he by then knew would probably be a better judge of these things.
