[RLOP] Chapter : 15 - Wano Takeover
Added 2025-09-07 10:17:19 +0000 UTCThe moment Lucci gave the signal, the four enraged children in midair erupted into their full beast forms.
In an instant—
Beasts unleashed!
Their massive transformed bodies crashed through the banquet hall, tearing apart the ceiling beams, ripping the roof from its frame, and shattering the walls in a storm of collapsing stone and timber.
Dust and debris filled the air, blinding Orochi.
“What’s happening? What’s happening, Little Brother Lucci?!” Orochi sputtered, waving his arms to clear the smoke. “I know, I know! It must be because I asked you to assist me so openly! I should’ve said it privately! That’s it, isn’t it?!”
Dragging Fukurokuju in front of him as a human shield, he babbled on, “Little Brother’s men are my men too! It’s fine! We’re all family!”
The dust began to settle, and Orochi’s vision cleared—only to be greeted by the towering silhouettes of a Mammoth, Triceratops, Pachycephalosaurus, and Spinosaurus. Each radiated killing intent, as if ready to tear him limb from limb.
“Wait a minute…” Orochi’s eyes bulged. “Mammoths, Triceratops, Pachycephalosaurus… aren’t those all herbivores?!”
Rolling his eyes, he yanked another Oniwabanshu member in front of his flank as a shield. His fear quickly twisted into greed. A manic gleam lit up his eyes.
“Guhahaha! Little Brother Lucci’s subordinates are my brothers too! Come with me! I’ll make all of you Lords of Wano!”
In his mind, a delusional equation began forming—
Let:
Beasts Pirates = Kaido + Three Disasters
= One Mythical Zoan + Three Ancient Zoans.
If he gained the allegiance of four Ancient Zoan users…
Then:
One Mythical Zoan + Four Ancient Zoans > Kaido + Three Disasters
= Beasts Pirates.
Conclusion: He, Orochi, > Beasts Pirates!!!
That’s right!
The world might have forgotten, but he had not—he too was a Mythical Zoan user! The Snake-Snake Fruit, Yamata no Orochi form! A monster just as rare as Kaido himself!
Lost in the delusion, Orochi chuckled obscenely, “Guhahaha…” He envisioned a bright future where he casually crushed the Nine Red Scabbards, annihilated the Kozuki clan, and ruled Wano unchallenged.
“Lord Lucci… is there some misunderstanding between us?” Fukurokuju’s grave tone snapped Orochi back to reality.
Orochi blinked, finally noticing the scene around him.
The grand banquet hall was gone—reduced to rubble, open to the sunlight.
And in the ruins stood a legion of beasts. Rhinoceroses, brown bears, scorpions, gorillas, giraffes—an entire menagerie of monstrous forms. Their eyes glowed with naked bloodlust.
But none were more terrifying than the one at their center.
Lucci.
His body towered at five meters, his form a white-maned half-beastman. Wings stretched from his back, and the storm itself seemed to coil around him—wind, rain, thunder, lightning, all clashing with the metallic grind of unseen gears.
Orochi’s jaw dropped. “How… how is this possible?! When did Mythical Zoans become so common?!”
If his inequality held true, then… was there truly a force here stronger than the Beasts Pirates?
“No… no, no!” Orochi shook his oversized head violently, rejecting the very thought. Instead, he dragged more Oniwabanshu to shield himself, oblivious to their trembling faces.
For all eleven Oniwabanshu had sensed it—the suffocating, bone-deep killing intent flooding from the beasts around them.
Maria, standing behind Lucci, gazed up at him. The man who just moments ago had been her height now loomed above her, a majestic predator cloaked in storm and steel. Her horns flushed crimson along with her cheeks. Without realizing it, she dropped to her knees, eyes fixed firmly on his back.
What is this feeling…?
Kyoshiro, sword at the ready, glanced between Orochi and Lucci, his mind racing. Strength remains supreme, is that it?
Faced with the choice between fleeing or continuing to grovel, he chose the latter.
And that decision… sealed his fate.
“So it’s you, huh? Daring to call our Big Brother Lucci little brother?”
“You might look human, but your guts aren’t small, are they!?”
“Big Brother Lucci has our recognition—what the hell are you supposed to be?”
The surrounding Beasts spoke with human voices, each word laced with mockery as they closed in, cutting off every possible escape route.
When Orochi and his retainers were completely hemmed in, the monstrous figures stopped—silent, waiting only for Lucci’s command.
“Lu… Big Brother Lu…” Orochi stammered, his eyes darting wildly as he was swallowed by the feral bloodlust around him. His bravado crumbled instantly. “Big Brother! There must be some misunderstanding! We’re allies—the Beasts Pirates and the Shogunate are allies!”
Lucci’s calm voice cut through the tension like a blade.
“Yes… and it’s not good for allies to hurt one another.”
“Then!” Orochi brightened, relief flooding his face. His heart pounded with excitement, hands trembling so badly he didn’t notice Hattori suddenly fluttering into the air.
And in the next heartbeat—
Lucci was gone.
A sudden gale tore through the hall, and before anyone could even blink, he reappeared directly in front of Fukurokuju.
Then—
Puchi.
Two sharp cracks echoed, like iron skewers piercing roasted meat.
Orochi and Fukurokuju both stiffened, their eyes bulging in disbelief. Lucci’s arm had driven clean through their chests, lifting them into the air like broken dolls.
His voice was cold, absolute.
“Then I declare—the Beasts Pirates hereby terminate our alliance with Orochi.”
With that, he ripped his arm free.
Blood sprayed. Both men collapsed heavily to the ground, lifeless eyes staring blankly.
“So fast!”
“Captain!”
The Oniwabanshu closest to them scrambled in panic, dragging the limp bodies back while raising their swords in trembling hands.
But the injuries… were catastrophic.
Fukurokuju’s chest was mangled, as though a cannonball had torn through him, leaving half his heart obliterated. Even for a shinobi of his stature, there was no surviving that.
Orochi’s wound was less grotesque only because of his bulk, but his massive frame couldn’t hide the truth—he was on the brink of death, slumped and motionless.
'This speed… this power… what kind of monster is he?!'
'No… the Captain’s finished! Save the Daimyo and retreat!'
The Oniwabanshu exchanged grim looks. Then, abandoning Fukurokuju’s cooling corpse, they seized Orochi and made a desperate push to break free of the encirclement.
Shurikens, kunai, darts, and blades rained down on Lucci in a storm of steel. The sound of clashing metal filled the air—
But that was all.
Every weapon froze mid-flight, suspended impossibly in the air around Lucci’s towering half-beast form.
The Oniwabanshu’s eyes widened in horror.
And then, as though obeying some invisible command—
The blades turned.
“AAAGHH!”
The storm of weapons hurtled back, slicing through the very men who had thrown them. Screams erupted in every direction, cut short by steel.
Lucci glanced at Orochi, who lay twitching weakly on the ground not far away. With a flick of his arm, he cast off the blood clinging to his claws.
His words fell like a death sentence.
“Leave no one alive.”
