Switching away from Imgur
Added 2023-04-30 19:10:57 +0000 UTCHey all. As many of you might have already heard, the image host Imgur has decided to go the way of Tumblr, removing all adult content and more from their service, starting mid May.
As I have been using Imgur as the primary host for exclusives, I will have to switch to another service. All imgur links to my content will likely stop functioning in a few weeks, so save any content you want to keep from the ones I've shared.
The options for a new host seem to be limited when it comes to adult content, but I will likely try imgbb as the first alternative. Please consider any links I send that use a new host to be temporary until I've successfully used them for a few months at least. I will start testing a new host from the first exclusive of May onward.
Imgbox links will still be posted as well, and the old ones will stay active, as I've had no issues with them so far. Imgbox has lots of ads though, which is why I don't like to consider them my primary host, so you may want to have an Adblocker installed on your browser if you decide to start viewing exclusives primarily from imgbox links.

Mega is blocked in some regions or by certain ISP's (not sure of the specifics), so it's not an ideal choice for a primary host.

2023-06-01 01:57:59 +0000 UTCThat's one of the reasons why I haven't considered it as one of the main options. I'd rather not mess around with the TOS of a big company like Google. I've even heard accounts created with same IP or email getting penalized on all sites owned by them due to actions on just one site. And half the internet is owned by or linked to Google, so...

2023-05-07 21:24:08 +0000 UTCJust remember that Google Drive's TOS technically forbid distributing sexual content: (Link probably doesn't work well, but scroll down to sexual material) https://support.google.com/docs/answer/148505#zippy=%2Csexually-explicit-material

2023-05-05 21:45:35 +0000 UTCCool. I just thought I'd mention it. I've seen a few other creators use it seemingly with success.

2023-05-05 21:30:12 +0000 UTCHave you considered Google Drive for content?
Comrade Adam
2023-05-05 21:21:07 +0000 UTCThese kinds of "prudish" decisions by sites online often baffle me.
