Short Delay - PC is Dead

Update - Aug 17th: NEW PC arrived and is being set up right now! So glad the down time wasn't too bad. We're back in business! Thank you, everyone, for your patience. Much love :)

Hey everyone, just a quick heads-up. My PC’s been flaky for a few weeks (sudden black screens, random crashes), and despite constant fixes and testing, it finally wouldn’t turn on today. I’m working on a fix (possibly the power supply), but in the meantime I’m also going to buy a new PC so that, at worst, I can switch to the new rig ASAP.

The good news is that all of my data is backed up in several locations, so the only inconvenience will be setting up the software again.

I sincerely apologize for the recent delays and appreciate your understanding while I get this resolved. I’ll post a status update as soon as I have more to share.

Thanks for your patience and support—I’ll make this right once the hardware’s sorted.

Best wishes,
Beetlebomb

Got another update for everyone that may be checking back here. I purchased the new PC about two days ago. I did opt to expedite the build, so I'm hoping to hear back about it shipping soon. In the mean time, I've been using my 11 year old laptop to keep our community informed. Once again, I apologize for the hiccup in our weekly rewards. I want nothing more than to get back to work! I'll post another update here in the comments when I get more information regarding the PC :)

I bought a new PSU and wasn't able to get it to start(1300W). I plan on ordering the new PC today, as well as a motherboard replacement for my current PC. Thank you for helping brainstorm with me. It's been very overwhelming.

RIP you could just try swapping out the PSU. although it might be the GPU too, sounds like you overheated. make sure your new PC has a PSU that can support all your hardware + a few 100-200 extra watts for overclocks. if your setup needs 800W, get 1000W

Beetlebomb, everything will be fine. Personally, I understand you and I'm willing to wait. Don't lose heart.
