Dev update #189

Good news only! Again!
All static renders for Episode 8.1 are now complete. The update will include around 950 renders, so it’s definitely on the chunkier side.

As I’ve mentioned before, there’s a lot of action in this one and that pace won’t be slowing down. The final four episodes of Cybernetic Seduction are all about momentum, and there won’t be much room to breathe.

That said, there’s still work to be done: animations are next. I’ve already finished the first scene, but I’ve noticed the cloud rendering has slowed down a bit. Not exactly sure why. It might be because I’m using an older version of the rendering software and there just aren’t many machines supporting it anymore. Could be that.

What I do know is... I’m not upgrading anything right now. After Season 1, I updated some of my software and it caused more issues than it solved. I’d rather stick with what works.

Animations are moving forward, though, and so far, things are going smoothly all things considered. Right now I’m working on a pretty wild scene... an experiment with Lynch and her new Morph formula that goes in some... unexpected directions. It’s a humoristic scene, but Lynch is going to have trouble walking for at least a week, and she definitely won’t be quite the same after this one.

Everything’s still on track for the official release of Episode 8.1 in November, and I’ll keep you updated as things move along.
