Our season of Jenna K. Moran's Nobilis BEGINS! Enjoy the episode, everybody, and also enjoy our first trove of downloadable files to accompany this episode.

We've got photos, Emily's powerpoint from session zero, as well as the "homework" I gave to Rob and Emily after this episode was recorded- two extracts from the manual entitled "What do Nobilis Do?" and a reference for drawing their character's flower.

If you're a fan of Nobilis, you'll notice that I made one big call as the GM in this season. I decided to introduce Rob and Emily to the world of this game as humans without character sheets, and then play out their transition into... something else entirely. This was inspired by the very first bit of (fantastic) introductory fiction in the Nobilis 2nd edition book, and I thought it'd make for the best experience both for my players and for you, the listener. Rest assured that as we get into episode 2, we'll be playing Nobilis properly. To the best of our abilities. It's HARD, okay
