I love when they show the crew members asking permission to do specific tasks. For the most part they act on their own and make decisions along the way but when it's something important, it gets addressed in a chain of command fashion. Sanji taking charge and asking Luffy if they can fight back against the Big Mom Pirates is a perfect example of that. They got a good balance of being friends and being a pirate crew.

They do like to bite you gently to get your attention but I don't think rabbits are the prime example here ^^ More like dogs and especially parrots you know, they bite you all the time. Especially while sitting on your shoulder they bite your ear.
