Luffy having a kiddie leash for Zoro would just result in both of the getting lost together. Luffy's sense of direction is only good compared to Zoro's. And we all know that Sanji would kill Zoro before he let him get the privilege of having Nami lead him around on a leash.

I would love that. Imagine an ASL side story or a world where the three brothers meet each other in the new world. Or the fight between Akainu and Aokiji animated. Or Mihawk and Shanks legendary fights. But I hope he concludes most of the plots in the main story, like the Noah and Joy Boy stuff for example.

You can always read Ace's light novel? The One Piece Novel A was officialized by Shueisha and Oda had checked and commented on the contents as a supervisor. So it’s basically like the Naruto novels, they’re canon even if not 100% written by the author, who checks it. Ah I don't know if it contains spoilers

I read somewhere that Oda would like to continue drawing the One Piece world after the initial story ends. Like side stories and stuff he would like to fill. It's very understandable to want to be done with the story first and then have multiple stories or a new one filling out plot holes or whatever
