Their own origin story anime would be sweet. I honestly thought they'd be more of an over-arching enemy than they actually are. No less formidable.

Togashi really does a good job of humanizing them. If they weren't mass murderers, I feel like they could be the protagonist group in their own anime. An idea I had for how their anime would be: Chrollo starts out alone, gathering his group of friends in order to become the King Of The Thieves a la One Piece. But then the group goes through a series long corruption arc until it finally becomes what it is today: Oops, all mass murderers!
