Thanks for the reaction! Shang be like, oh, a demon god? Let me check my inventory. Such a boss. This might be the only time Gale ever loses his cool in the series, too. As for the second half, what you're watching isn't season 2; it's the movie The Sword of Life and Death that was released between seasons 1 and 2 and is 1 hour and 15 minutes long. (You may want to edit the title and tags.) I blame Crunchyroll; their categorization system is stupid and lists the movie as part of season 2. Which is fine, because the movie is fun too, if not essential. It's split into two halves with different stories; the first goes into Screaming Phoenix Killer's backstory and why he (deservedly) hates Enigmatic Gale's guts, and the second is more of a parody sendup of the first season, plus a short setup for season 2.
