Okay. I hate to litter you with comments. But did you really think Ainz is shameless enough to drug them? Think of Ainz as a NPC in a videogame that will not attack you until provoked. BUT he is pressed by Demiurge a LOT. They emphazise more on it in the books. Ainz ultimate priniple is; There is no point killing needlessly

You know Ainz as morals and principals and stuff. He maid the maids kneel for the king when he arrived. Ainz is a special man.
If it's a boy, Jircniv Rune Farlord El Nix. If it is a girl Honyopnyoko.

In the books the twins father sold em as slaves into a brothel because he wanted money to buy more lamps. All to save his wanna-be noble status. The books are so fleshed out and I really cried there for real

Their first mistake was to treat Ainz as a monster. I actually think there is many ways to escape the situation if they just knew Ainz morals. Tell him you want to serve Nazarick or maybe Ainz would be interested in some ability or knowledge they have. Ainz seems generous to those that please him. And he doesn't like senseless killing so they just have to make up for their mistake of breaking in.

Yo, Sorcerer King Ains Ool Gown has arrived. Feel bad for the thieves but they had it coming, I'm sorry to say. The old man(Fluder), at the drop of a dime, said "Take my virginity, Master Ains!" I'm para-phrasing of course lmao.
