Apart from Mushoku Tensei, these series are long, nostalgia goggled and overhyped. They don’t make good reaction series. M/t is shorter and has a load of lore and great action scenes!

As a series to follow Overlord, Slime just seems like the perfect choice. An Isekai with an op character, but this one makes all the good choices: save the village, make friends, etc. Also, Naruto and HunterxHunter are long, and Boom is already watching One Piece. Having shorter series would allow for him to react to more anime.

HxH is great but too common, same with Death Note and Naruto. They just don’t compare to OP and that’s 2 long series to dedicate to! Slime is good but very slow at times.

It’s about Rudius’ growth! You’re not meant to like him at the start, it pays off in droves by how he develops during the first season and then the second just is a masterpiece!

Hunter hunter is cool but I hate that isn’t well written. I hated the end and various things along the anime. It’s said to have a better power system than One Piece but I don’t see it. That was the reason I watched it in first place but they set high standard saying it was better than OP in that key aspect. (I think those people don’t understand OP power system to begin) Death note is short, sweet and masterful in comparison (to me) :p Hunter hunter is also unfinished and that makes me mad
