Btw Boom, not sure if you noticed this in Op 11. When Luffy falls off the surf board, it's Chopper and Brook who jump in after him. And the next scene is all three of them having been pulled out. 🤣🤣

Everytime Opening 5 starts with the song's chorus, I get frisson from head to toe. I listened to the instrumental version of that track, and figured out what causes it-- when they start the chorus, there are these THUNDEROUS DRUMS underneath their vocal harmony that are just... *chef's kiss*

Thanks for reacting to my video Boom! A quick reminder for everyone: In the top left in the beginning of every song you could see who made the opening and what the song is called. If you want to search it up or add it on Spotify and I could post the streamable link to the video (if Boom allows me to do so) as well so people could actually download the video of the ops 1-11 if they want to. Sry btw that the subtitles sometimes are written above the Japanese subtitles some openings had but I recorded the openings of Funimation and I had the subtitles set up poorly there but I hope everyone who wanted to read them could.

I am on the camp of loving the original art style of One Piece, and really enjoying the art style they swap to now and then after the Foxy Pirate arc. After a certain point Toei changes the art style AGAIN, and it looks very stiff/lazy despite it being more "clean" and shiny. XD I have this issue with current Dragon Ball related media, as the original and Z were top tier, but Kai+ was just gross to look at. BUT, I also *love* series like Mob Psycho 100, Ed Edd n Eddy, and Crayon Shin-Chan, which a lot of people bash for looking bad even though the animation and art style are great for faster motion and character poses/movement.

btw i can only recommend you listen to the straw-hat version of "we are" in full - idk about you, but hearing the voice actors sing as the characters makes me so fucking happy, especially luffys va. she sounds like shes having the time of her life singing as luffy *u* i think theres even a version with franky and brook too? but yeah, god these opening are injecting the best kind of nostalgia directly into my veins everytime i hear them, especially the 3rd and 5th, cause they were the ones i saw back when i watched one piece every day after coming home from school...sigh, good times...
