People complain about pace but I think it's because they've re-watched multiple times. I've re-watched this show like 5 times but the first time I never had issues with pace. Just have fun and enjoy this amazing adventure

Yeah, Thriller Bark is a blast, it just has the misfortune of being a mostly stand alone arc in between two utterly hype sagas, much like Skypia. And also.... yeah the ending is just a little bit dragged out for a few episodes longer then it feels like it really should be.

When I think about shadow Luffy, it gives me nightmares!

I appreciate the kind words, thank you

Dude I hope you read this, about your breakup... Whatever happened I sure don't know, but I hope that you can look at it in a way that you can see that everything is changing in your life, and change the best thing that can happen in my eyes, when something ends, something greater starts, kinda like the arcs here in One Piece. "When you hit your lowest point, you are open to the greatest change" Take care man

Love the Usopp-Perona fight. It's so clever and fitting for who Usopp is, and I like Perona the most out of the antagonists in this arc anyway. She's a total brat, but still sorta cute, and her Devil Fruit is pretty interesting. Also, she's not gross like Absalom, and as you found out in the last episode, Hogback is an even worse dirtbag.

There are later arcs with some serious pacing issues, especially once you get to around episode 600. But at this point in the show the pacing is pretty good, and the parts that are stretched are only stretched a little

I think I was the one who mentioned pacing issues in this arc? Thinking about it and rewatching it now, I don't think there are really. Maybe a couple episodes that are a bit stretched, but overall this arc moves pretty well. I think I just remember all One Piece arcs being slower than they actually are lol
