Steins;Gate was originally a Visual Novel, which I played before watching the anime adaptation, and the VN is one of my favorite piece of fiction ever. The first half is generally considered to be slower, sci-fi with slice of life elements, while the second half is still sci-fi, but a bit more fast-paced. I honestly didn't mind it being kind of slow paced at first, I'm a sucker for sci-fi stuff, and Stein's;Gate does a good job of making it credible. Besides, Okabe is a very fun and interesting narrator in the VN. Btw it seems like you're getting more and more Major League suggestions to react to. Isn't it tough keeping up?
