So Taymac, a fellow hair focused artist and friend, mentioned she uses a program called House Design 3D to help her do room drawings. If you've followed me for a while, you know i have a hatred for drawing backgrounds. So naturally, I bought it and got bust learning how to setup room plans that seem feasible. My idea was Hedid's shop is on the lower floor of a renovated apartment complex, and she lives in a small apartment upstairs. It is her family's old home, with her being a 3rd generation barber. I debated on how many chairs she would have. She usually works it alone, but one for washing, one for cutting, and two dryers (yes, those are scaled up desk lamps cuz the program has limited appliances) seemed a good setup. Overall I'm sure people with actual architecture degrees would have an aneurism for something i have done, but it works for my purposes. I like the idea of seeing both Heidi's work life and domestic life so close to each other. Oh, and I made her a cat person on a whim.
I may eventually build out the street view outside as well, but that's a project for another day. Let me know your thoughts below.
