Yeah, Alien living supercomputer Brainiac, predicting Krypton eventual cosmic destruction, captured capital City of Kandor and reduced it in order to add to his collection. Years later, Superman fought the bottle after one of his first encounters with Brainiac. That´s one of classic canonical facts on all version of DC universe. The bottle maintains atmosphere pressure and grav conditions, also features similar solar radiation from red sun of Krypton.
