Patreon update v0.23.0: Drunk Kobolds

Greetings everyone, this week adds a new character, Rustsock the Thief. You can find him, his friends, and his introductory quest in the new alleyway of Harpydust residential. Besides that, various bits of the new interaction system were completed, you can find some examples in Harpydust residential and your apartment. There is still some functionality to be added, and a lot of things to be converted, but that will happen bit by bit with each update.

Another feature made it in this week, single-page mode! After months of waiting for the scrolly/fadey thing to finish doing its thing, I grew sick of it. I added a new toggle in the settings to put the game into single-page mode (like Twine), there are some kinks to be ironed out, but overall it works surprisingly well. You will also be prompted to select this mode at the start of a new game, together with a small helping of tips and hotkeys. Fading can be disabled entirely by changing the ‘Text scroll/fade’ setting.

• Some typos have been fixed (due to the contributions of Zorm)
