Added 2025-08-09 14:40:36 +0000 UTCAfter asking around with some local friends, I decided to stay at Badiah Hotel because they offer free airport shuttle service. I got a rate of about (37.50 USD) per night booked on Agoda, and breakfast was included.
I arrived at the hotel around 10:30 PM and checked in right away—let’s go!
You can just speak regular Indonesian here, no worries!!
I got a room on the 3rd floor. Turns out it’s really nice inside—cool and even a bit chilly! 🥶🥶🥶
WHAAT!! BOOM!! This room feels like a sultan’s palace!! Seriously, it’s huge! 😵💫🥴😵 I swear, it’s so big you could throw a concert or go jogging inside!
The amenities are pretty good too, yeah!
The power outlets are just like the ones in Malaysia—something like this!
Right outside the window, the view is of the King and the hotel’s swimming pool.
The vibe here just won’t let me sleep quickly—just as I thought. I always have trouble sleeping in big rooms. Alright, let’s take a shower first!
I slept around 1:30 AM and woke up around 6:30 AM.
It’s morning already!! Here’s the view outside during the day.
Let’s go have breakfast!! You get a breakfast coupon at check-in. Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 10:30 AM. The menu changes every day, and everything is really tasty in my opinion. There’s always chicken, plus carbs like rice, potatoes, noodles, and bread. So many options—everything you could want!
After finishing breakfast, I headed up to the second floor where the swimming pool is. It’s open from 7 AM to 10 PM. The pool isn’t too deep—only about 120 cm.
Okay, around 1 PM, my friend will pick me up at the hotel to take me around. I wonder where I’ll be taken on this first day?
