That's not a good sign, I believe that means your PC doesn't have enough RAM to run it (the game is a glutton for RAM, and that's something I need to fix in the final release. One thing you can try is to open the file marked 'options' in the same folder as the game, and try setting 'CreateTexturesOnDemand' to '1'. If that doesn't work you can try messing around with the other settings in there, but other than that I'm afraid there's not a lot that can be done...

I did notice how the Game Over galley doesn't show the secret game over if you get KO'd by Butterscotch before you face Roxxie.

I did it… I finnaly beat it.. and you know what.. the fight was hard, dead hard took me a lotta tries to get it.. but you know what.. all I gotta say is.. Fan-fucking-tastic squashedflat! You did an amazing job and all the grabs were down. And a little detail I didn’t notice until I actually looked.. when your beating the shit outa roxxie April is happy and laughing! I knew she’d be sad when tex is loosing but I never saw her being happy and laughing when she’s winning! It kinda reminds me during the bar scene (I think it’s honestly been a minute) and the fight with zirona and the twins.. and maybe the fight with jacks.. I’m not sure, how the crowd was laughing every time tex got grabbed.. it’s a lovely detail that is just wonderful. And my god that ending… you better make a tex in trouble 2 cause my god you can’t leave on a.. well.. quite literal cliff hanger! Oh and nice dual, love the fact that she doesn’t have a gun.. she has an ASS.. and she made the lovely weasel as flat as all get out and it’s great! It took a couple tries to dodge and admittedly.. i did it by accident! now as for bugs! Cause I found 2 and I feel you should know about them. 1. I’ve found that sometimes when roxxie does her “jump up on the cliff and rain down rocks” attack that.. if the first rock stuns you, and you get out of it before she comes down from the rocks, she won’t come down ever and the game kinda just can’t continue. 2. A little glitch that may be more my timing than an actual glitch. I found that there is a little lag in the frame of the roxxie/ April grab that has to be lassoed that, if you lasso at that frame, it won’t count as you lassoing the grab roxxie.. it’ll count as you grabbing roxxie normally.. which will get you hurt. Agian it’s at the very beginning of it when she turns around.. and it may be my stupidity and bad timing. (Or if you don’t wanna read) Good fucking job~! Great game!

Glad you liked it! That's very odd to hear... You should always be able to exit the gallery, and should be able to view the animations from any level you've unlocked. To scroll to the right you do need to be on the top line of portraits though.

i'm not a good observer but i noticed some weird stuff on gameplay, not really game breaking or ending but just a little annoying sometimes. -the kick hit detection is a little weird, it works most of the time but there are sometimes where the kick doesn't touch the enemy even if you can punch them or they can punch you. -if you are on the bottom of the screen, your backdash doesn't make you move, is like you are dashing against a invisible wall, so enemies can combo you there. -i'm confused about the damage, because it sometimes seem to increase against the small enemies, i remember 2 shooting the cat that was with the elephant blocking one the door, and i think i did more damage to small bunnies when the big ones appeared -nitpick but the circle of the lasso is not connected when launched, like there seems to be some pixels missing. still a great game and one of my favorite nsfw one, your work in general made me choose you as my first supported artist ever i also really like the easter egg of roxxie being hiden in one of the mine entrances after you already climbed, cool foreshadowing as a secret and to finish this, i'd like to say that, while i love texas torture >w<, we should not forget that she is strong enough to move and sometimes overpower (at least the butt) of a 22 ton heavy animal, and the highest weight a human can move is only 2.8 tons, and that's backlifting, not as hard as pushing the cheeks of them, or pulling them quickly with a lasso, and the latter she did with little effort. she is extremely strong (and so are her enemies), do not mess with her or YOU might end up being her butt hag...well time to prank her hehehe~~ texas x april FTW, MLG out edit: SPOILERS Giantess fight lets GOOOOOO

Dang, looks like this update exceeds the memory requirements my computer can provide. I did manage to play most of it after shutting down other unnecessary programs running, but a lot of images were replaced by white boxes and eventually my computer couldn't take it and shut itself down. Update looks great, but it seems I won't be able to play it properly until the Game Maker 2 port arrives. Guess it's back to the waiting board for me!

This update was a lot of fun! I liked the dialogue a lot, and the KOs and Game Overs were phenomenal as well. I do have one possible glitch to report though with the gallery. Maybe I'm dumb, but I was unable to move to a new page of enemies. I also couldn't exit it. Again, maybe I'm just missing something, but that's what I have to report.

Congrats on getting this over the finish line! The roxxie fight was tough but with alot of back dodges and (a little bit of cheesing her knockdown animation) I was able to knock her out. Very fun game and a fierce final bout with the Roo herself! Also... That cliffhanger ending is very interesting~ Loved the updates and loved watching this project grow into what it is. Best of luck moving forward!

You don't need to shoot at all. you just need to sprint away as soon as Roxxie leaps. If you walk, she'll just crash down on top of you immediately.

EDIT: If you shoot right away and get the arrow in the top, Hold down shift and try to run in that direction, that worked for me, now I'm just trying to figure out how to outbox that damned kangaroo xD Same, I press the moment she starts moving, sometimes she jumps me in an instant, other times there is a drawn out whistle as she stands there slackjawed. Tried spacebar to dodge and if I try to move, I get one step before she crashes down on top, I've also tried smashing attack, lasso/talk. What are one supposed to do for this quickdraw?

Love the game, but I'm kind of confused on how the showdown works. Are you supposed to shoot her before she hops? Because no matter how fast I press the button I feel like I'm always firing after she jumps, and it's always at a different time so I can't even prepare for it.

Possibly! Backdashing with spacebar is the best way to get distance when she's on top of you. You can even get two hits in as she's coming at you, backdash away, then make your third attack and knock her down! Don't try to charge in and straight-up fight her, because she will wreck you. Keep your distance, let her make the first move and respond in kind. If you knock her down she'll usually try to backflip away and change tactics.

First time playing your game and up until the Roxie it’s been a blast. You did a really great job on the horse riding section and the newer scenes are well put together. Thank you for this amazing experience

The game is awesome. Just the final battle, I could not beat Roxy whatever I do. Her combos are deadly and I can land one fist and take tons of in return. Sprint and the robe are useless mostly. Do I miss something?

Thanks! Yeah, still some to be done, as is probably apparent from the ending, heh. As to your quickdraw issue, I'm just about to update the files with a fix that allows you to restart the level from the countdown, as I missed that, but I don't know about the '0' part. I've just tested it and it seems to work for me. It is worth noting that the picture of Gold Springs with the mushroom cloud in the distance isn't actually the game over screen, and if you wait for the music to end it should fade out to the ACTUAL game over screen. But if that's not working I'm really not sure what the issue could be... And yes, I'm removing the number 1 as well... Can't believe I left that in!

First of all, congrats on making it here. I'll hold off on the champagne until the final final release. Amazing and fantastic work. It's been a long time coming. I know you said there is still more work to be done, but congrats on what you have accomplished. Here are a few things though about this version that I noticed: The final quickdraw seems to be broken. When the game over screen comes on after losing the quickdraw, the countdowns will get stuck at 0. I cannot advance it to the final screen or cancel out to the main menu once it gets down to 0. Any other time before 0, I can cancel out of it otherwise I have to close the game in order to fix it. It works fine in the Game Over Screen menu. I did figure out how to beat the final quickdraw, I will say it was kind of confusing that I needed to add an additional key. However, I do approve of what you did as it is something different and it being Roxxie it makes sense. There is a number 1 stuck in the corner. I know this is left over from testing. Also, what......the….... heck........ man...........I was not expecting that. Awesome....just awesome.

Close! There's a little bit more to go yet, such as finally porting the project over to Game Maker 2 and adding loading screens. Mostly QoL stuff, because it's a bit of a resource hog on startup at the moment.
