You *can* do garters to keep thigh highs up - and as long as you spin a reasonably fine gauge wool yarn, knit to fit, and dye to match (assuming one sheep is white) then it's theoretically possible. Stockinette stitch is pretty stretchy - hence the name - and that's where knitting versus weaving produces wildly different fabric. And no, they would ๐ฏ not look like the picture - I'm just saying. ;-) Though now I'm also wondering how fine Mei can spin wool...
