Helixftr Deluxe Update
Added 2024-11-19 00:54:30 +0000 UTCAside from doing a lot of restructuring and general housekeeping in preparation for working on the next character, a few features have been added.
Language Switching
You can now switch the game's language with a button in the top-right corner of the title screen (and access gate, if you don't have access). Currently, the only languages are US English and Japanese. I have to rely on machine translation for languages other than English, so it's likely they may not be very good. I appreciate any changes native speakers may suggest for improving translations.
Reset Alert
This is a small quality-of-life addition for those times when the player enters a state where resetting the game is the most logical thing to do, like becoming trapped or defeating the enemy. A small dialog box asks if you would like to reset, which you can decline in order to keep playing, if desired.
Fullscreen Mode
You can set the game to take up the full real estate of its monitor with a button in the top-right. This increases the resolution of the game, and may impact performance.

Helixftr Deluxe is tested in Firefox and Chrome. Performance appears to be significantly worse in Chrome for some reason, so using Firefox is suggested.
