What look do you prefer for Baba-Set: Fat or Muscular?
Added 2025-04-25 14:07:39 +0000 UTCI'm considering a new Baba-Set project, and I'm debating how to depict him in this story. In my original Brides of Baba-Set comic, he's depicted as pot-bellied, old and grizzled. In other depictions, like Baba-Set vs. Megara, he's shredded and muscular.
My logic was that in ancient times, he would have been more fit, but in a modern context he has grown old and fat. My new comic will take place in the ancient world, so he should be slimmer, but what do you prefer? If more people want to see a fat Baba-Set, then I can definitely go that route. It does give him a certain aura, and it helps differentiate him from Mandrill, my other simian protagonist (God knows how I ended up with two distinct baboon man villains in my work).
Comments
I prefer to keep him visually distinct from the Mandrill, so I say Fat
