An unprecedented "vacation"

I'm sorry that I have to write this to inform you all that due to sudden change of circumstances at home.
I am now having to join the family 'vacation' away from home for several days as they announce it right out of nowhere and they won't take no for an answer from me.
As the result, I'll have to temporarily put the next week's poll on hold for now.
