Until We Meet Again, Oran.
Added 2025-11-15 19:58:24 +0000 UTCLate last night our sweet, elderly kitty passed from what was very likely heart failure.
We were there with him until the very end.
He purred one final time, and left to be free again, to run wild in the woods once more.
He lived a long, happy life, full of love and treats and so many people that loved him!
We're absolutely heartbroken, but he's no longer in any sort of pain, and for that we are grateful. He is, and always will be, dearly missed.
We're having a funeral for him later today, and laying him to rest beside his brother.
I've ordered a custom marker for him that will be here soon as well.
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for caring about our baby boy, and helping us fund the medical treatment that he needed at the end of his long life.
You helped make sure he did not suffer.
We're forever grateful. Truly.

Oh no I'm so sorry to hear this! Rest in peace, Oran! I'm sure that he knew how loved he was, and you're both such wonderful people to take care of him the way you did. I know how hard it is to say goodbye, so I'm truly wishing you both the best - I'll be thinking of Oran today. <3
