I wanted to ask you something. How do you feel 2024 is going so far? Are you inspired, motivated and seeing gains in your musicianship? Or maybe it’s been a shitty year and you’re about to set your guitar on fire. No judgment either way. I’ve noticed getting used to the emotional roller coaster is part of having an artistic temperament muhahaha

2024-07-14 00:46:45 +0000 UTCOld Metallica lover. Ive actually been practicing my vocals helps me better with the guitar. Getting those ideas out. Went and bought a small drum set to play the drums to my favorite songs cuz my inner timing sucks. Bad. But it's improving. Really need a better way to memorize the notes on the fretboard so I'm not struggling to find the notes on the fretboard quickly also playing each chord up and down the fretboard. I do have your chord and scale Bible however it's very small on my phone. I don't want to fumble with too many books and scrolling through the phone looking for chords. Any suggestions?

2024-07-12 19:10:20 +0000 UTCI’ve been developing a “one-man metal band” for a few years now. What one can do with even 16bit drum & bass samples is amazing. I make videos but my goal is to play live. My musicianship has improved considerably, especially this year. I broke a guitar plateau I’d been on for a few years. With your help my composition ideas are much more interesting. What sucks is I’m terrible at the business end of music and can’t find gigs.
