Remember, they got the Dao Inspirations for first time discoveries for all of the Body Cultivation methods and pills they made forever ago. Body Cultivation would just put too many eyes on them if he started doing it now. If he builds his force up, step-by-step to Spirit Level, they might he strong enough to start integrating Body Cultivation at that point, but before then, it's just too dangerous. I don't see how Jon could compete against him in Body Cultivation, because it only exists in SF's mind library right now.
