Aha! Good news everyone, I’m back, and here with an update for Homestead.

Today, I’m going to show you all the great progress that’s been made by our vector artist, Lillowisp, on the rigs for each of the equine races in homestead.

Aren’t they amazing? Each one of these is a puppet that is used for staging, all with interchangeable parts that will be used to stage every pose that’s seen in game!

What's great, is that this is a large chunk of work done. From now on, unless very specific angles are needed for a scene, the puppet can have legs, facial expression, eyes, hair...just about everything changed!

And instead of having to make a whole new model, all that’s needed is that specific part! Modular ponies! This will of course be done for all the other races too, as well as each character will have their own rigs. As time goes by, more and more pieces are added to the list of options, and less time is needed to create new art assets to create a scene!

This doesn’t mean that it will cover all art assets though, as I’m sure there will be a need for unique scripted scenes with special points of view that these rigs don’t work quite as well for.

But that is what I have to show you all since the last Homestead update, progress is going well, and I’m also very excited about the announcement of Hereafter, and I hope you all are too.
