I’ve been freelancer nearly a decade, and done hundreds of projects for clients in that time, in addition to launching several projects of my own. But this past year (as you know) I’ve been working on something very special: the Ultimate Artist Guide.
I’ve made thousands of mistakes attempting to navigate self-employment, the commission process, and selling my art (and trying not to get burnt out in the process). While there’s no better teacher than failure, sometimes it’s better to learn from others' mistakes: that’s why I gathered everything I know about artist life into a book. Well, it was supposed to be a simple educational article, but 25K words is above the word limit, apparently.
It’s my hope that this will be an invaluable resource for anyone hoping to make art their career or simply learn some better habits. It debunks common myths, offers reality checks, and provides clear, actionable advice on burnout, pricing, licencing, social media, and just about everything in between.
It's available through Amazon (in all countries where amazon is available) and on kindle unlimited.
