Added 2023-10-06 13:57:11 +0000 UTCI've been bad at keeping my Patreon updated with my Halsin wips, but that changes now.
Gaia (my tav) has the biggest body type, which means although Halsin was big he was still relatively level with her. Now that I'm drawing him next to Shadowheart I realise just how fucking big he is hahaha. I had a look in game and the top of her head reaches his shoulders, just about. Wow.
Remember how I said I couldn't be a comic artist like two posts ago? WELL HERE I AM, TRYING ANYWAY. And not just a tiny 2 panel comic - nay, these are but the first of 8 panels, Gods help me.
Why Halsin and Sharty? WELL;
SPOILERS FOR EVERYTHING:
They do have a lot of flirty dialogue in game as well, but there could be so much more to it. We can haVE ANGST, PEOPLE. (although this comic is all fluff) I've not played as Shadowheart yet and I'm curious if it explores their relationship a bit more than just having them in your party.
So with the power of art I'll get you all onboard the Shalsin ship. Shadowbear? Bearheart?

Shadowheart is the most relatable female origin, I love Karalch too, but for someone like me who already died once, lost their memories and pulled everything in their life into question. yea. Shadowheart represents everything I fought within myself and her journey to find who she is, other than my drow Tav with vitiligo (Tavinia Baenre- Minthara's half sister) running from drow society for the surface as a child, these two characters just fit with Halsin best.

2023-10-25 13:04:22 +0000 UTCI always play games 100% blind the first time and I just finished my first playthrough Saturday (bought the game super late) and Shadowheart…she died. And I feel like I missed out on so much. It was prior to Halsin actually joining the party so they never interacted in my game.
