I hope you're all having a great summer. I figured I'd share what I'm working on, as they're quite cool! So if you suddenly find yourself thinking, "I wonder what Naariel is up to right now?" you know I'm either painting on these two or shooting cowboys in Red Dead.
Top image is commissioned by Tevruden of his dragon OC Tevrugos. I had the joy of painting a portrait of Tevrugos a few years ago and I'm having a lot of fun re-imagining the character as he is now. Still really early on in the process here, I still need to figure out what to do for a background!
Bottom image is commissioned by Holly of her Worgen Warlock, Werio and his trusted companion Tank. Imagine some magical swirlies between their hands!
And I imagine both will be in the August Digital Rewards.
I'm challenging myself by pushing my commissions to be more dynamic and detailed background-wise from now on. I hope to get more confident in my environments and compositions! Thank you all for being here with me on my artistic journey.
