End of the Week - Update!

On the left we have a piece I've named The Wanderer, commissioned by Michita. I finished him earlier this week! I was so nice to finally complete the painting for him. I think it turned out great!

In the middle we have the cutest commission! I love that they equipped matching transmogs for their couples painting.

On the right we have, what I hope will be my fanciest painting yet. The prompt was "painting of a noble" and I hope to make it as fancy as I can!

I had initially taken today off for a proper recharging weekend, but motivation to study finally struck!
I know jack shit about painting environments, so I'm starting with basic fundamentals. I saved a bunch of screenshots from the amazing BBC Planet Earth series that are perfect for exactly such an exercise! Today was all about the foreground-background value exercise. Just to get a feel for what the heck a landscape is!
