Added 2018-08-15 00:27:36 +0000 UTCI've upgraded from a Blue Snoball Mic (direct USB) to a Focusrite Solo Scarlett audio interface, an MXL R144 ribbon mic, a new isolation shield, a new pop filter & shock mount.... YAYAYAYAYAYAY!
I'll be recording new smut with this awesome new setup soon. I'm stoked! I am still playing with settings and such - feedback on how I sound is very welcome!

Your old recordings were good (a lot better than what most people post) but with the new hardware your voice sounds more natural and has greater presence. Maybe that is just you not having to filter so much for background sound, but it definitely is cleaner, clearer, and less muddy. I canβt wait to listen to some of the new audio you record on that setup. My only critique would be to say watch the orientation of the microphone while recording. I think I detected a bit of wafting with regards to the stereo pickup, and that is usually a sign that you are moving in and out of its field while recording.
