You asked how was Christmas for us, It was pretty chill for me all things considered. My new job is at an airport so I spent my first Christmas an an airport, there was snow & ice so a lot of flights got cancelled which made work a lot easier & I spent most of my shift watching my backlog of YouTube videos on my phone. Hope it was good for you and the kitties. For this episode, part of me was disappointed that Jackson Lake wasn't actually a future Doctor. I thought that could've been interesting to have him run into a future version of himself, but I also get that it probably wouldn't be good to force a commitment like that. David Morrisey would've either had to have literally be the next Doctor after Tennant, or sometime way in the future where he would be way older & not look the same, or so far in the future that we would probably never see him on screen again & that would be pointless Either way, I think he did a good job being The Doctor for a short period & I'm a little sad we don't get more because I think David Morrisey could've definately pulled off playing The Doctor for real.

I always thought this was a decent episode because we got the cybermen back and them being in Victoria London gave the story a steampunk feel and when I saw the teaser I really did think David Morrisey was a future version of the Doctor. There have been moments in classic Who, when doctors have met past versions as form of crossover.
