When Poseidon and Zeus were talking in Ancient Greek, I do believe they were supposed to have subtitles for what they're saying. I believe it was just Poseidon asking which of the other gods know about Kronos. I agree that the episode is a bit anticlimactic. It is more accurate to the books, but I think that's why the movie made the change to have Luke and Percy battle it out near the Empire State Building. In the books, they do make the deadline, so I don't think there is as much expectation for the war between Zeus and Poseidon to happen. The climax is Percy's duel with Ares, and then Percy gets the bolt to Olympus in time to stop the war. Rick Riordan, the author, actually based Percy off of his son, who has both ADHD and Dyslexia. The books started as bedtime stories he would tell his son based on Greek Mythology. The second season will be coming out this December!
