Any information provided by Sci-Trek I'm taking as made-up or accidentally gotten right at this point. That guy has been wrong so many times now that anything he says just doesn't sound believable anymore. But feel free to believe what you want to believe. If it helps keep hope alive.

2025-08-09 06:23:11 +0000 UTCso, I did a little bit of digging around about the new upcoming Stargate series, and here's what I discovered ... from Sci-trek and his other channel... The show has not been cancelled. It was blocked from proceeding further in it's tracks a little while back by Jennifer Salke (the woman responsible for the atrocities of The Wheel of Time and The Rings of Power ...and the woman who turned down a Conan TV series because it was too "toxic male"). Why did Jennifer Salke block it? Well, from the people that worked there and from her bosses who told her to greenlight it (and she refused), she blocked it because the show did NOT have any female writers or producers or directors! Yes... it was as simple as that. She was greenlighting projects that had female writer/producers/directors and blocking ALL projects that did not. Having heard some of the things she's said herself, this is completely believeable! But she was fired like 6 months back... so hopefully we can get back on track! But I still don't know where they are currently at

I've been here on Patreon mostly for Buffyverse, Arrowverse and now Stargate. I'm so glad you've started the Walking Dead verse as well. For now though, my immense thanks for covering this. ... Oh, and I thank you for at least ATTEMPTING Star Trek, lol.
