Sect of the Robot Moon: Post-mortem!
Added 2025-05-07 18:29:02 +0000 UTCHoly SHIT what a two-weeks that was! Our beautiful Robot Moon's mechanical temple had:
12 fully functional complete quest chains, with physical puzzles with moving parts, several of which took you all around the festival to do extra activities like build chemical compounds or decode a VHS tape,
We fully ran out of cypher amulets (over 100 given out!) by Saturday!
About 20 or so folks completed the complete Pilgrimage of Niavis, aka all 12 quest chains and the intro/outro, and were awarded the Acolyte's Badge (pictured below)
My lovely friend Bex, the mastermind behind this gorgeous puzzle module, gifted me and Frog a handmade moon choker with our Neotropolis names on it at the Howling Ceremony on Saturday (pictured below)
Sect of the Robot Moon won Cult of the Year (yes, it's a real judged contest, lmao) at FREQ this year!! Thank you, Moon Prophet!!
We already have a ton of stuff planned for next year, including collabs with ATFL legend Mandar3, Gladiators fighter and martial arts specialist Sidewinder, and even more crystals to discover and puzzles to uncover - and, of course, FUCKTONS OF CRYPTIC GOTHIC MOON LORE!!
