Concept Art: Sect of the Robot Moon!

When I'm not making 2D stuff professionally, one of my hobbies is creating immersive environments for assorted (3D, IRL, physical) full-immersion events like Wasteland Weekend!
This is one of my concept drawings for a module (basically a 5x10 foot section of space) for one of our factions for Neotropolis 2025 (an ongoing yearly full-immersion cyberpunk festival in the Mojave). This module's theme is Sect of the Robot Moon, and has a Warhammer 40k-esque space goth vibe, and TONS of engineered puzzles and secrets!
Some highlights of the space include:
Starmap lit by paper lanterns over a cloth canopy roof
An encroaching bio-luminescent foliage wall from the module to our left, the lovely biohazard/toxic greenhouse themed B0N3Z0N3 (which I am a proud member of)
An altar to the right that springs open with secret compartments when physical puzzles are completed
Blacklight-popping fake stained glass windows with the story of the cult illuminating on them when blacklight is shown
I'm partnering up with my friend Becca who works professionally as an escape room fabricator and designer (!!), and they've come up with some super fucking cool stuff they've already begun fabrication for.
Below are some of their floorplans and puzzles they've broken ground on which I used for the basis of our color concept! Many of the puzzles are also designed by my friend Frog, and they have a super rad physical component to them.
I can't WAIT until I get to show you all photos of the completed Moon Cult module in April!!
