Price Increase

I am writing this with my sincerest apologies for having to do this after I assured you all last year that I have no intentions of raising my prices. Lately things made me realize on how thin ice I am walking on, and if I wanna continue drawing I will have to raise my prices inorder to make sure I can afford having a roof over my head :[

I'm gonna save up the yap for deeper down below for those interested, as I wanna be fully transparent on the price changes and such so I don't just wanna make it seem like tep wants to charge more and more but deliver less work.

And as such, with the overwhelming positive result of patreon survey I've decided to raise my tier prices, as there are several factors leading to increased cost of living and decreased revenue on my part, these changes will take affect upon your next renewal date.

The new prices will be as following:

Supporter: 2$ ---> 2.5$
Mega supporter: 5$ ---> 7.5$
Ultra supporter: 40$ ---> 45$

With the inbetween tiers adjusted accordingly

• Why will there be a price increase tep?

Sadly it has come to this because of several factors I will go over in a bit, I want to keep you guys updated as I really value transparency and want to ensure you guys know what I'm doing as you guys are literally paying my rent.

Reason 1: Decrease in revenue due to increased quality
These past months many of you might've notices that my uploads are a bit more spread out, I used to post every 2nd day, now I post every 3rd day. This isn't because I've grown lazy or anything, but it's for the most part because I put ALOT more effort into each drawing than I used to.

I keep getting better and better at art, which leads me to learn new things and skills, which take time to apply and make a finished product.

It takes me longer to make a drawing then what it used to. That's for the most part amazing and I plan on still just making better and better art as many of you seem to love higher quality art over quantity of art.

Here's the problem, as of now, my patreon pays for about 2/3rds of my rent, this means I have to make up the difference through commissions, and with each commission taking longer and longer to make, I get paid less and less for the time spent. Due to that the last couple of months I've been bleeding my savings inorder to makeup for the lost revenue, which has lead me to this month where my savings are almost completely exhausted.
(ah and also food costs money too)

I do plan on also increasing commission prices, but that will wait until I've reopened commisisons inorder to stay faithfull to the people who have been in the queue for now OVER A YEAR!

Reason 2: No economical security net
With my savings all gone, if something were to happen I would have no way of paying for that. That's been highlighted for me recently as my washing machine decided to just die on me, aswell as some other random furniture around my house. I have no way of paying to get these things fixed, nor to replace them.

I have to start making some profit off of my works inorder to rebuild my savings so that incase something where to happen to me, I would be able to afford it. Like getting sick, or maybe even ending up in the hospital, if any of these things would happen to me right now it would completely devastate me economically and I would struggle to get back from it.

Reason 3: Family debt
Sadly my parents living situations weren't easy, even when I used to live with them, there would be often times of struggle, but nevertheless they still gave me the best childhood I could've gotten. The problem is that them providing for me and my brother has lead to huge debt on them, debt that will not carry over to me, but nevertheless I still want to help them and make sure they can live somewhat without worry.

This has lead me to "borrow" money to them that I refuse to actually get back because I'm such an evil son bwahah. I have no intentions on getting the money back, something that I've even told my parents and have several times resend the money they've tried to pay back. They have given me a rad ass childhood, so I plan on repaying that in any way I can.

So that's about most of, there's also like tuition costs and small things like that but it's not worth yapping more about. I just wanted to say I really appreciate yall, you have given me an amazing oppertunity that I love working on, and that I wanna keep working on.
I really appreciate if you somehow read this whole ass thing, and know that I really really appreciate you guys. Even if you think your help goes unnoticed know what tep checks all his notifications, apprecates all the messages, all the likes on the posts, and pays respect whenever I get an email from patreon telling me that somone raised their pledge. It all truly matter to me and I hope many will stay for the years to come <3
