⚙️ Tier Rework

Good afternoon everyone!~

First things first I just want to say thank you all for your support. It truly means the world to me you enjoy my animations. I have been debating this change for a while, as it would come with a change to the $10 Tier primarily. After a lot of debate, I have decided to end up switching to Blender.

❓Why the change?

Blender gives me a lot more freedom and control over the models, environments, lighting, and shaders than Koikatsu can. And not to sound like a nerd 🤓, but Blender has what's called Bezier keyframes. This last animation I did turned out much smoother because of these. Essentially, Blender is able to tween (smoothly transition) between more than just one keyframe. This technically is possible in Koikatsu, however it requires significant effort of messing with the individual keyframe's curves, where as in Blender it's the default. This and many other things like fluid simulations, better rigs, more environmental controls, audio importing for lip syncing, are all the reasons I am switching. I want to bring you guys the best TSF content I can do.

💲Ok, but how does this effect me?

With me switching from Koikatsu to Blender, also comes with changes to the tools available to me. Koikatsu had a large library of free models and mods to use to make characters. However, in Blender these are usually paid models on a Patreon or an Itch.IO. I would not be able to release the Scene Data/Project Files for these without redistributing someone else's content that they work hard on creating.

Without the work of these creators for example, I wouldn't be able to use Blender at all. I can't model my own things yet.

Because of this the $10 Tier on my Patreon will be updating to no longer include Koikatsu Scene Data or .blend files. The current Scene Data files will still be available always to download. I have no intentions of removing existing content from my Patreon.

🌟 The Good News

However, the $10 tier is instead getting an upgrade! Instead of those files (which I've checked the stats on, not too many of you use) you will be getting:

• ⌚ Early Access to all my animations!

  For the $10 Tier Members you will see animations before they go live for anyone else. This means you get first dibs on peeping at what's new in the VesselVerse.

• 🆙 Bonus Votes on Character Polls!

  You will be getting an additional vote for the Character Selection Polls. While Patreon doesn't support this directly, you will be served two polls. The same characters on both, just an additional vote to count for me.

• 🖊️ Script Previews for Upcoming Projects!

  I will be posting the entire script I give to the Voice Actresses before releasing any WIPs, this way as a community we can workshop story lines together! This Jane Doe story for example I needed help on and it will be great to have a team of dedicated people who can workshop a story with me. This will be a channel in the Discord Server for script feedback, so if you haven't joined there you totally should.

With these changes I believe it's a pretty decent upgrade on the content you were getting before and makes the name of "Director" feel a little more special, while still giving a reason to maybe upgrade for those who didn't care much about the $10 Tier before.
