Added 2023-08-11 06:39:45 +0000 UTCIt's come to my attention that there are pirating sites that are stealing hard-made content directly from Patreon. I was getting ready to start writing again with a better rollout plan in mind, but literally saw every single friggin post I've written word for word on some website and it has killed my brain boner for the time being. What the hell can I do as a writer? A video creator can whip out a five minute asmr video of them eating a cupcake (I'm sure more goes into it) but I would spend hours trying to come up with good content, which I plan to release to open source sites like DeviantArt a fe months later anyway.
What can I do? Make every single story a pay-for story to hurt the pirates as much as possible? Find a site that gives you one-time access to download the stories in one go, as opposed to the pirate only having to pay once a month to steal an entire month of content? Give me some ideas people.

I think I found a solution that matches the type of content that I put out. It isn't perfect but definitely provides more oversight on who I allow to see the content, and allows them temporary access to download everything I've written up to that date. Also, with how quickly you've been putting on the pounds, Luke, I'm not surprised people don't want to wait for the pirated versions of your vids to be uploaded, they don't want to miss a single second of your blimpification!! 🎈‼️😲

2023-08-11 07:45:26 +0000 UTCWe have the same issue, our videos aren't downloadable and are unlisted but I think they get screen recorded or saved still. There are a few sites that have our content on them. We have no solution, just the fact that if people want to support they will support rather than searching on shady sites for it.
