June 2025 - Monthly Renders/Fix to Android Problem

Good evening Citizens,

So the last 2 weeks have been extremely unproductive. Just been laying on the bed, dying, wondering if I'll ever return to a normal life again. Trying to apply to internships but have been unsuccessful, class bullshit, friends going MIA, but mainly, just not knowing how I want to proceed with this update. It's been having a mental toll on me and it's affected SL. But yeah, I still do plan on having 0.3.20 done either this month or early next, but we'll see. So far, the progress has been really bad.

That being said, I did get some work done. I've finally created a simpler method to import saves across Android (and through PC/MAC as well).

This function is already available Android (if you don't see this option, it's because I had to do an emergency update and you would have to download the newer version available). As a lot of you have explained to me, saves are a bitch to maintain on Android. This SYNCHRONIZATION function will now create a code (that will last I believe an hour) that will allow you to transfer your save files from one device to another (Android cannot go to PC and vice versa, unfortunately. I'll continue to mess with this to find a solution). I've actually updated the current Android version (0.3.19) to support this, so when you're moving your saves to the next update, you'll be able to do this without any problems. The process should work like this:

1.) Go to OPTIONS

2.) Create SYNC code and write down code (might take a moment to create this code)

3.) Delete SL and install new version of SL

4.) Open new version of SL and enter sync code

5.) Success

I still need to test this further, but this process should fix the problems that mobile users have been experiencing with losing their saves. Again, it still needs further testing, but AFAIK, this should work. Also, this feature will be added to PC/MAC/LIN users in the next update.
