Good morning Citizens,
I hope everyone is doing swell. I have a few exams to do this week (plus finals soon), but I took some time to work on some newer models since I'll need them for this arc. We got about 3 weeks left before classes are over, and I'll be able to put much more time into SL. We're still in the early phase of development. I know it's been rocky lately, but this just needs to be done. I think after this semester, things will calm down and become a lot more easier since it'll mean that the "difficult" classes will be done and completed with (hopefully). I will have taken care of all of my 4 credit classes, and I'm assuming the 3 credits will be easy.
Alright, so 0.3.19 will begin Ferry's arc. I think it will take about 3-4 updates to complete. It'll be very story oriented, so I apologize if that's not what you're into. I'll obviously sprinkle in some NSFW goodness but I would rather not force it if possible. We'll see how things develop. The story has been on my mind for a while and I just want to make sure it's right without having to rush anything.
As mentioned before, we are approaching 2 GB on Android and I'm strongly considering making a "part 2" version of Scarlet Law in which most of the old content from the original game will be gone so that we have more space for newer content. I think it's a good time to do this soon (hopefully I'll be able to fit in Ferry's arc before I do) so that people on Android will be able to play the game without problems. Also, it'll help to have a part 2, so that if people lose their saves, they don't have to start from the very beginning (albeit, not being able to view most of the older content).
I'm curious to see how many people actually play the game on mobile here. Please let me know in our poll. I feel like I should be prioritizing more on mobile functionality but it's difficult for me to test even with an emulator. You can select multiple options, so please let me know.

Now that I think about it, the hitboxes of the smaller flowers in the part are also tricky.

2025-04-16 21:46:16 +0000 UTCI prefer playing on PC that way I can use my steam controller which in my opinion is practically made for visual novels.

2025-04-16 14:22:31 +0000 UTCI mostly use mobile, and honestly, the only problem I really have is that the arrow to return to a previous room can be tricky to hit instead of the Skip or Auto buttons in the menu bar.
