Good afternoon Citizens,

Geez, has it really been THIS long since the last SL update? I feel like this year has flashed before my eyes. This update is about the size of 2 monthly updates, and will introduce us to the school arc. Technically, these events are supposed to take place shortly after meeting Rita (if you remember, Kanae asks you to provide a sample of your Valla DNA for research) but obviously I can only work on so much at once. Most of you probably won't remember Kanae asking you for this since it's been so long, but if you played the game straight through from the beginning, it should be more linear. It's kind of difficult to juggle between character stories in a "sandbox" type game because I often get told that the story doesn't make sense since it keeps jumping to different events. I don't necessarily disagree with this, but I do think the main problem is that I don't normally work on one arc completely, so people's mileage when they play the game will vary depending on what stories they want to work on.

Back to this update...

I think this is a really good one. We have a ton of nudity and (IMO) fun scenes. We have the introduction to the academy where MC will be teaching the delinquents. I originally had this update finished a long time ago, but I know that a lot of you guys might not like the delinquent girls because they are primarily side characters who harass/troll you constantly and so I decided to add an extra Estelle scene (who most people like). These characters archetypes are usually the most hated (I think back to when I used to have people telling me to kill Celestia/Rita/Estelle) because they can be annoying. Still, I sort of like these types of characters because they're different and just fun to make stories for.

Moving forward...

So I checked my calendar, and I only have about 3-4 weeks before the next semester starts. It'll probably be my most difficult semester. I'm really, really sort of regretting going back to class and I feel like, financially (God bless USA education), I can't afford to just take 1-2 classes per semester. Money has been a huge issue for me, especially since I haven't had an update in a while. And the way the courses are structured is that almost all of them have a prerequisite and can only be taken during certain times (fall/spring/summer). No idea why they have two classes that are only available during the summer (real bullshit tbh). My goal is to do as much as I can for 0.3.18 before classes start. When that happens, I'm afraid progress will be halted significantly again, but we'll see. I want to get this out of the way now, because I totally will understand your disappointment in the coming months and if you want to unsub, I won't be upset and will understand.

Anyway, so 0.3.18, the plan will be more side scenes with Viera (and maybe Altina or more school). I want to get some things out of the way before we can go back to main story stuff. I think we're about 60% done with the story (minus side stuff). I feel like the Viera scenes will be very, very fun to work on and she's actually one of the more popular characters. We'll be tackling some of the scenes from before I did the reboot (if you remember, then kudos...) but obviously with a better twist. I plan on working on this ASAP since I only have 3-4 weeks left.
